Otherwise history repeats itself says Dave Brew from MNFU
There's a risk politicians on the Isle of Man won't do anything about food security until there are significant issues with imports.
The warning comes from Dave Brew - a farmer on the Island who also represents the Manx National Farmers Union.
He says history has a funny way of repeating itself, referring back to the 1930s when the industry over here faced challenges which ultimately led to significant legislative changes.
