Reports of high levels of litter left on Island's shoreline this week
High temperatures this week have seen many of us flocking to the Island's beaches.
Indeed, in the last few days, towns and villages like Peel and Port Erin have welcomed hundreds of people heading to the seaside.
But there have been reports of high levels of mess left behind, with pizza boxes, chips, cans and bottles found on Port Erin beach last night (25 June).
Hannah Mackenzie is the Chair of Port Erin Commissioners, who are responsible for keeping the beach clean.
She told Manx Radio the message is simple: if you're going to enjoy the beach, take responsibility for your own mess:
Local charity Beach Buddies have spent many years tackling this problem.
But founder Bill Dale is not hopeful that the message to keep beaches clean is getting through:
