What would you like to see on the site of the Island’s former prison?
That’s the question being asked by the Department of Infrastructure which has launched a six week consultation period.
The Victoria Road site in Douglas has not been used as a working prison since prisoners and staff relocated to Jurby in 2008.
And after its entire contents were sold, the building was finally demolished last year.
Infrastructure Minister David Cretney says the consultation is an important initial step in securing the redevelopment of a key site.
