
A mid-winter ice rink will be back in the Island this Christmas.
After a break of several years, Ice Skate Isle of Man has a new home at Tynwald Mills in St Johns, and will be open from December 7 for a month.
And this time the venture has a charitable side too.
The attraction's being supported by Helping Hands - the corporate giving programme of online gaming firm PokerStars.
Proceeds from a number of special fund-raising days will be donated to four local charities during the month.
Sue Hammett from Helping Hands says the company was keen to help bring some seasonal fun to the Island - but their financial support came with a caveat:
