Hunt the Wren this Boxing Day

Eight locations marking the event

Manx residents can gather to Hunt the Wren at eight different locations on the Isle of Man this year.

The tradition is one of the oldest on Island.

Observed on Boxing Day, Hunt the Wren sees groups gather to sing and dance.

Hunt the Wren will take place this morning at:

Port St Mary - Scoill Phurt le Moirrey - 10am

Douglas - Woodbourne Hotel - 10.15am

Ramsey - St Paul's Church - 10.30am

St John's - Arboretum car park - 10.30am

Willaston - School car park - 10.45am

Kirk Michael - Mitre - 11am

Ballaugh - Raven - 11.20am

Sulby - Sulby Glen - 11.40am
