Event raises funds for hospice as organisation faces financial pressures
More than 200 motorcyclists have taken part in a charity ride across the Isle of Man in support of Hospice Isle of Man.
The annual Easter Bunny Ride Out saw a large convoy of riders travel together on Sunday (5 April), raising money for the end-of-life care facility.
All funds generated from the event will go towards supporting the organisation’s services, which provide palliative care on the Island.
Police, who were involved in facilitating the ride, thanked the public for their patience, acknowledging that a procession of that size may have caused some disruption or delays on the roads.
The fundraising effort comes as Hospice Isle of Man recently confirmed it is making job cuts and changes to some services, blaming ongoing financial challenges and increasing cost pressures.
The Department of Health and Social Care maintains essential core services will be protected.
