Health department looking at situation
The health department is looking into expanding parking at Noble's Hospital.
Although the hospital has an overflow car park, patients have complained it is perennially difficult to find a space.
The issue was raised by Tynwald's Social Affairs Policy Review Committee last week - with MHKs suggesting some residents were using Noble's as a 'park and ride' to access Douglas town centre.
Health minister David Ashford questioned those claims, however, and said the DHSC was looking at creating more spaces for elderly and disabled patients.
But he told Manx Radio it's difficult to please everyone:
