Hundreds slide down road to raise funds
It's all been downhill at Port Jack today (Sun).
Hundreds of people have been lining up to slide 100 metres down the road towards the Promenade on an urban water slide.
Each slider has an allocated time slot for their turn and things got underway around midday. The whole area was been closed to traffic.
The fund-raising event has been organised by Hospice Isle of Man, Head of Income Generation Mary Doyle says it's been a real community effort and may become an annual event:
