Late start to service as prom regeneration work continues
The horse tram service along Douglas promenade is set to be up and running by mid-to-late May.
The tramway is currently being rebuilt as part of ongoing regeneration works to the gateway to the capital.
The trams usually start running from 25 April - but that date has been and gone.
While the horse tramway website still says the timetable is scheduled to run from this date, it also says it's subject to change due to the prom works.
Government has now said mid-to-late May is when they're set to start up again - with the start of TT less than four weeks away.
