Group opposes plans to move tracks
More than a thousand people have joined a Facebook group campaigning against government plans to resite the horse tram tracks in Douglas.
The Department of Infrastructure wants to move the tracks on to the promenade walkway to ease traffic flow in the area.
However, 'Keep cars and horse trams off the walkway' is strongly against the proposals as it feels the walkway would become unsafe for pedestrians.
Tim Knott from the group says the public should not have limited access to the prom:
