Call for apologies for LGBT 'witch-hunts'
It's hoped more police chiefs in the UK will follow the example set by the Isle of Man last year when Chief Constable Gary Roberts apologised for the historic persecution of the LGBT community.
Former Manx Gay Rights Campaigner Alan Shea was invited to the launch of a new campaign in the UK last week called #ApologiseNow.
It's spearheaded by the Peter Tatchell Foundation, and backed by the late Paul O'Grady who shared his own experiences of police persecution.
