Union presidents hopes current situation is a 'blip'
It's hoped farming costs will start leveling out in the coming weeks and months.
The Manx National Farmers Union says the industry is still facing increasing prices brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.
President, Ean Parsons, hopes this will be a 'blip' and costs will subside.
Reflecting on 2021, Mr Parsons also says there have been challenges around the Agri-Environment Scheme introduced on Island earlier this year.
Among its objectives are providing financial support to the Manx farming sector:
Fundraiser for TT rider Maria Costello surpasses £220k
Warmer than average May for Island
Manx BirdLife awarded funding for new warden
Increased DfE support 'to tackle rising costs and global pressures'
