A Douglas Central MHK hopes the Isle of Man will start to see progress from the energy firm tasked with exploring the Island's seabed for natural gas, following repeated licence extensions.
The Department of Infrastructure says there are a small number of outstanding issues, which led to a fourth extension to Crogga's licence to conduct 3D seismic surveys.
The energy firm, which was recently ordered to pay more than £130,000 by an employment tribunal, scrapped its attempt to vary its licence, which would have allowed it to bypass completing the 3D surveys and rely entirely on data from the 1990s.
The Department of Infrastructure says this is because both parties failed to come to an agreement on the licence variation request.
