
Leisure chiefs remain optimistic a solution can be found in the bus drivers’ dispute.
That’s the view of the chief executive of the Department of Leisure – despite bus drivers voting to stage a half-day strike next Thursday (January 17).
They’re taking industrial action in a further protest against the department’s plans to make £300,000 worth of savings on a range of terms and conditions.
Nick Black says the department will remain flexible during talks.
