Minister going against town's wishes, says MHK
A Ramsey MHK says he's 'very, very disappointed' with the home affairs minister's attitude towards the town's courthouse.
Announcing the building was up for sale for £475,000, Bill Malarkey yesterday told the House of Keys his main concern was to get the best value for money for it, regardless of its importance to the local community.
There's been an angry reaction from locals online, while one commissioner, Juan McGuinness, has said Mr Malarkey has sold out the town for a few extra coins.
