Hooper and Allinson re-elected in Ramsey

Liberal Vannin leader tops vote

Ramsey has re-elected the same two MHKs, with Lawrie Hooper topping the vote ahead of Dr Alex Allinson.

Mr Hooper is the only Liberal Vannin candidate to have been elected.

He received 1657 votes, 100 more than the education minister.

Dr Allinson was asked whether he'll now put himself forward to be Chief Minister:

Robert Cowell came third with 679 votes, just ahead of 664 Luke Parker with 664.

Simon Mann secured 555 votes, Erica Spencer had 438, there were 405 for Leonard Singer and 345 for Jonathan Kinrade.
