Former director of TTMA resigned on Friday
The former director of the TT Marshals Association says 'the time was right' for him to step down from the role.
Terry Holmes announced his resignation on Friday, but insists the decision was 'amicable'.
He was first elected onto the committee in 2004 and has held a variety of positions including chairman.
Mr Holmes says he's received many messages as the news of his departure has filtered through:
Amber weather warning issued as strong winds and coastal conditions expected overnight
Hospice funding criticised by UK charity chief amid Isle of Man service cuts
Sailings cancelled as storm brings gale-force winds
Manx Mountain Marathon route diverted over safety concerns amid forecast strong winds
