Wrexham owner visits world renowned watchmaker
Ryan Reynolds has praised the Island as 'one of the best-kept secrets'.
The Deadpool actor and co-owner of EFL Championship side Wrexham has been on the Island today to meet watchmaker Roger W. Smith.
The Hollywood star said: "I must’ve walked half the Island this morning. What a gorgeous place to live. Nicest people, a dose of perfect weather and home to one of the world’s greatest watchmakers."
Toasting the Island's Gaiety Theatre, he even quoted Downton Abbey, saying: "I believe it was Violet, the Dowager Countess who said, “Oh, dear, such a glare. I feel as if I were on stage at The Gaiety.
