Charles Guard urges Tynwald to provide adequate funding
A Manx historian is calling for a rethink after proposals for a new Laxey Wheel visitor entrance were unveiled.
Charles Guard MBE has published a video describing the plans as 'dreadful', comparing the design to a mobile classroom.
Manx National Heritage submitted the plans in November, stating the current facility doesn't meet modern standards.
Mr Guard says the project should only go ahead if MNH can afford to do it 'properly', and is calling on Tynwald to provide adequate funding:
Manx Radio has invited Manx National Heritage to respond.
