MHK says 'disgraceful' Woodbourne Road surface should have been tackled ahead of Victoria Street crossing
The politician in charge of the Island's roads says he has 'serious questions' about how the Department of Infrastructure prioritises its roadworks.
Stu Peters says the road surface on Woodbourne Road in Douglas is 'disgraceful', adding that he'd have preferred that route to be resurfaced ahead of the pedestrian crossing scheme on Victoria Street.
The Middle MHK was appointed as the political member with responsibility for highways last month.
He believes repairs to busy routes like Woodbourne Road should come first:
