One option being considered in DOI restructure
The future of the Island's heritage railway is one area "currently under consideration" as part of a wider review into the structure of the Department of Infrastructure.
The Chief Minister confirmed in the House of Keys this morning it could be one service moved into a more arm's length style of delivery.
Responding to a question from Douglas North MHK David Ashford, Alfred Cannan said one option is moving it into a charitable trust:
Mr Cannan confirmed a full update will be given from the Infrastructure Minister in April 2023 regarding "what potential is being explored".
