All options being considered
The Treasury Minister insists all options are being considered as a review of health funding begins - and won't rule out the prospect of privatising services.
Alfred Cannan is leading the study, which was approved in Tynwald this week along with an additional £9.5 million of funding for the department.
The UK's Office for Budget Responsibility estimates financial pressure on health services will grow by a quarter over the next five years.
That means up to £60 million could be needed for the DHSC by 2022.
Mr Cannan has promised a 'conversation' with the public about the future of services over the next twelve months, as well as comparison with other healthcare models.
