Former Keys candidate to appeal
A former House of Keys election candidate who claimed she’d been sacked from Noble’s Hospital unfairly, plans to appeal after losing her claim for unfair dismissal.
Fifty-year old Michelle Inglis was diagnosed with cervical cancer two years ago and underwent treatment to remove the life-threatening cells.
The health worker, who was unsuccessful in September’s general election, opted to have a hysterectomy to lessen the need for further treatment, and was signed off work for six weeks.
She was told not to return.
A tribunal rejected her claim for unfair dismissal.
