Locums covering many posts
The difficulty of recruiting and retaining doctors in the Island’s health service has been highlighted in the House of Keys.
This morning (Tuesday), health department member Jason Moorhouse revealed 34 posts were vacant at the end of last month.
Fourteen of those were vacancies for consultants.
Mr Moorhouse says they are of varying grades across Noble’s Hospital.
