Datix system allows patient safety incidents to be recorded
The health and social care minister says she is committed to promoting an open, learning-focused culture at Noble’s Hospital.
In Tynwald, Claire Christian was asked how effective Datix reporting is being encouraged.
Datix allows healthcare staff to record patient safety incidents and near misses so lessons can be learned and care improved.
Ms Christian adds that Manx Care is required to report critical incidents to her department:
