Specialist facility considered for sufferers
The health and social care minister believes there's a lot of public misunderstanding surrounding dementia.
Kate Beecroft is looking into the possibility of building a special facility for people suffering with the disease - where they're nursed by round-the-clock carers.
The last study showed around 1,300 people on the Island have dementia.
Mrs Beecroft will shortly be off to visit a 'dementia village' in Ireland.
