Braddan Commissioners says it has only cleared the land
Health Minister Lawrie Hooper says preparation work is 'underway' by Braddan Commissioners to build an access route to The Roundhouse after his department shut off the road.
In response to a question asked in the House of Keys by Chris Thomas, he says it shouldn't be left to the government to solve the local authority's problems.
The commissioners say the site has been 'cleared', but 'no further approval' has been given to go on the site and is waiting for a licence or land agreement to do more work.
Minister Hooper added the government has 'pulled out all the stops' to support the local authority's community centre:
