Ashford believes coronavirus testing lab has played a vital role

Health Minister David Ashford has praised the work of the leading scientist at the coronavirus testing lab.

He's met with Dr Rachel Glover and is grateful for papers she has prepared for him during the pandemic.

Recent tweets from Dr Glover indicated a growing frustration she's not been consulted as part of a new report to the council of ministers on testing.

However, he says there are many other factors for CoMin to consider when looking at the testing regime.
