Claire Christian previously accused healthcare provider's cuts as 'holding a gun to government's head'
The health minister says her role is about balancing the needs of the healthcare service with the budgets available to her.
Back in October, Manx Care announced a number of cuts to services in a bid to reduce its overspend.
At the time, as a backbencher, Claire Christian accused it of 'holding a gun to the head of government' - which Manx Care described as 'disappointing'.
But she says she's now gained a new perspective as minister:
