New private GP clinic open in Douglas
The Health Minister has no objections to doctors conducting private work outside of their NHS time.
Lawrie Hooper was responding to a new group of doctors who've formed a private GP clinic on the Island.
Mannin Doctors has a number of specialists that are willing to assist patients and cut down long waiting lists in the process.
Mr Hooper says his only concern is to ensure the private work does not have an impact on NHS patients:
