Sports groups invited to make the most of new school
Sports clubs and groups in Douglas are being encouraged to make the most of state-of-the-art facilities at the Island's new school.
Henry Bloom Noble primary boasts extensive indoor and outdoor sports halls and courts, along with grass and astro pitches.
The £9.5 million facility on Westmoreland Road which opened this week, can also cater for groups needing an indoor space.
The school offers its 300 pupils vastly more than was provided on the old sites - and education chiefs want the whole community to benefit from the huge investment.
Head teacher Ian Walmsley says HBN has much to offer local people after the pupils and staff have gone home.
