Farmer left £500 out of pocket by 'mindless act'
Vandals have cost a farmer more than £500, after damaging 21 haylage bales in a field in the west of the Island.
Peel police say the bales were slashed by what's believed to be a large, sharp implement some time between 2pm on Tuesday and 1pm yesterday.
They were in a field next to a public footpath running between Eairy Cushlin and Dalby at the time.
