Claims momentum is building
A review of the Department of Infrastructure's harbours strategy, which was approved by Tynwald last year, would put off private sector investors.
That's the claim being made by Tim Baker MHK, who's the DoI's member with responsibility for ports.
Tynwald yesterday rejected a recommendation made by the Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee that a strategic review of the Island's harbours be carried out.
Speaking to Manx Radio after the vote, Mr Baker said progress was starting to be made:
