DoI to review how harbours are run
Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne says a new harbour users group comes at a time when his department’s examining how the Island’s facilities are used.
Last week, the All Island Harbour Users Association met for the first time to discuss issues facing those who use our harbours.
Mr Gawne says for years, the Department of Infrastructure had paid little attention to how the harbours were managed.
But with reduced budgets, Mr Gawne says the department’s been looking at how harbours are run:
