33-year-old will be sentenced in March
A Douglas woman will be sentenced in March after biting two paramedics.
Kimberley Cherianne Collister, of Bucks Road, admitted assaulting the medical staff during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse.
Police were called to Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital, on 27 September, after reports that the 33-year-old was ‘kicking off’.
She was shouting and exposing herself; when officers handcuffed her she struck her head off the floor and police van.
Two paramedics attended to assist but Collister proceeded to bite both of them – one on the forearm and one on the wrist.
Psychiatric and social enquiry reports have been requested before Collister is sentenced on 7 March; she’s been bailed until that date.
