Director defends Manx Radio position
The second set of recommendations from the Select Committee on Public Service Media has been published.
It contains a further five recommendations in addition to the six made in the interim report published in July.
These include exploring possible re-location of Broadcasting House, negotiations between COMIN, the UK Government and the BBC regarding various funding options in relation to the BBC being involved in Manx Radio's operations.
Speaking on Mandate this morning, Chair of the Committee, Dr Alex Allinson denied the intention of the report was for government to take more control of Manx Radio.
