Laxey company MMD undertook work
The water wheel at Groudle Glen, first constructed in the 1890s by Richard Maltby Broadbent, has been rebuilt.
It was officially opened His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney, who cut the ribbon at a ceremony with invited guests.
The work was done by MMD (Mining Machinery Developments) based in Laxey.
Peter Kelly from the Isle of Man Victorian Society praised the company's efforts:
'Essential' that school staff recognise the signs of an allergic reaction
'High' risk of wildfires over the next week
'Come From Away' to continue after cast member injured during rehearsal
'Parks in worse state then when I started' says Peel commissioner
