DoI assessing the damage after section washes away
A footpath in one of the Island's glens has been closed after part of it washed away.
The Department of Infrastructure has shut the path at the bottom of Groudle Glen as it's become treacherous to walkers.
The Department will assess the damage before determining how to reinstate the footpath, but is urging the public to stay away from the area in the meantime.
Signs warning those in the area of the closure will be displayed in the area today.
