These include Noble's Park and Summerhill Glen
Nine parks in Douglas have been awarded a green flag by UK charity Keep Britain Tidy.
Noble's Park, Summerhill Glen and Douglas Head were included in the list of sites which have received the status.
A green flag is given if the spaces meet eight criteria which are safe and secure sites, well maintained and clean venues, environmental management, biodiversity, landscape and heritage, and community involvement.
The council says sites are not automatically renewed which means new schemes and maintaining high standards are needed to retain the status.
The full list of sites which were given a green flag are:
• Noble’s Park
• Loch Promenade
• Douglas Golf Course
• Douglas Head
• Derby Square
• Kaye Memorial Garden
