Manx charity organise 2017 event
A charity event is being held by local volunteers looking to raise funds to support African orphans left to fend for themselves in the wake of a major conflict.
Next Tuesday (21 Nov) from 7pm at Bar George it's the third year of the 'Great Isle of Man Quiz', organised by Manx registered charity 'Developing Orphans'.
It covers all things Manx, from Bonnag to Buggane, with all funds raised helping to provide an education for many orphans left isolated after a series of crises in Northern Uganda.
If you're interested in taking part you can contact Andrew Newton on 427925, quiz teams are up to eight people with a minimum £5 donation per person.
