Last opportunity for riders to qualify for World Series Final
Cyclists won’t have to ride as far in today’s Gran Fondo Isle of Man.
Organisers have made the decision to shorten the course due to the bad weather.
They say whilst it may be disappointing they have to ensure the safety of all involved.
It will now take place over the 72km medio fondo course instead – with the event starting at 9.30am.
The Gran Fondo is the final opportunity for riders from around the world to qualify for the Gran Fondo World Series Final next month.
The medio and piccolo events will take place as scheduled.
