GP surgeries across the Island are closing this afternoon as staff undergo essential training.
It's prompted Manx Care to make renewed efforts to ask residents to consider getting help elsewhere aside from the emergency department.
Wait times are expected to be 'very high' and Noble's itself is 'extremely busy' due to the number of unwell patients.
GP practices will be open in the morning until 1pm.
