Chief minister asked if he would support education minister going to the table with NASUWT
The government has continued to insist it tries to keep negotiations with unions at 'arms length' to avoid conflicts in the future.
Members of the NASUWT are due to continue walkouts in January and February.
The local negotiating secretary for the union had previously called for the Education Minister Julie Edge to come to the table for talks.

Chief Minister Alfred Cannan was asked if he would support that:
Mr Cannan continued to reiterate government acknowledges issues within education and says strike action is 'unjustified'.
