One bank recently started charging charities
Government should protect services like banking when they're vital to the community.
That's according to Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper who had planned to put forward a private members bill making banking services free for charities.
It's after the Isle of Man Bank recently started charging not for profit organisations to use its facilities.
Treasury will now look at the matter and Mr Hooper says it's right for government to step in:
