Treasury member says increased demand on public services and pay awards among the challenges for government
Increased demand on services, pay rises to civil servants and rising costs have all put pressures on government's spending.
That's the view of political member for Treasury, Bill Henderson MLC.
His comments come following this week's Budget, which included a 2% increase to the higher rate of income tax.
