Policy and Reform Minister waiting for reply to proposal
The government is waiting for approval to trial a digital BBC Isle of Man news programme.
Policy and Reform Minister Ray Harmer explained the current status, in a statement on BBC TV Licensing in Tynwald.
He spoke about the relationship with the BBC and Manx Radio, with a reciprocal sharing agreement of news content.
But, Mr Harmer said they could capitalise further on BBC TV Licensing with similar 'opt-out' systems to the Channel Islands:
