'Be careful on the roads'
Government is asking drivers and pedestrians alike to take care on the roads.
In a post on its Twitter account, government points out that while people try to abide by social distancing guidance, pavements are only so wide.
It means people may step into the highway to avoid passing within two metres of others.
People are being asked to please 'be patient and show respect and courtesy to all road users'.
