Funding offers security to institution
Government has agreed to fund a local charity on the brink of collapse.
The Family Library issued an urgent plea for financial help earlier this year, with claims the £250,000-per-year running costs were not being met by donors and corporate sponsors.
As a result, its schools scheme, mobile and family libraries were said to be in jeopardy.
Last month e-Gaming magnates the Scheinberg family promised to match any donations up to £125,000.
