Public health director meets with nurseries
Isle of Man Government has restated the rules around self-isolation in a family setting.
Director of Public Health Henrietta Ewart recently met with child-minders and those who run nurseries.
The message from Dr Ewart was if children couldn't be kept apart from a parent or household member who is self-isolating, they shouldn't go to a nursery or school environment.
The health department says self-isolation in the home means you stay away from all other family members where possible.
Where this is problematic and can't be done, all people, whether children or adults, in contact with someone in quarantine are also required to stay away from mixing with people outside the home for the same period of time.
