Government proposes review of Civil Service

Scucture comes under scrutiny

There’s to be an independent review of the size and structure of the Island’s civil service.

That’s if Tynwald approves a government proposal later this month.

The review would compare salaries and benefits with elsewhere and consider areas such as management responsibilities and structures.

Policy and Reform head Chris Thomas says staffing efficiencies form an important part of ongoing reform across Government.
